Trip of a lifetime

Oct 2023

This has been one of the greatest experiences of my life, enjoyed every last minute of it! Arthur was fantastic, a really brilliant guide and friend to all of us. He was always there when we needed him, had recommendations about everything and knew so so so much about all the places we visited. I 10000% recommend it to anyone! A once in a lifetime trip

Oct 2023

My husband and I joined Arthur’s group for our honeymoon. Arthur was very knowledgeable about where we were going, was friendly and made the trip very fun. He went over and above to ensure everyone had a good time and felt like our guide but also another friend in the group. He was keen to share his knowledge but also to learn things from all of us. The hotels we stayed in were nicer than we expected and the trips have been truly once in a lifetime. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Rebecca Underwood - Oct 2023 ...more ...less

Where do I start? Our experience with true travels has exceeded my expectations. Myself and my boyfriend have never been on a group tour before so we were abit nervous to begin with. Once we met Arthur our nerves were immediately gone as he was so welcoming & kind. Throughout the whole tour Arthur was there for us to answer any questions & calm any worries. He was so knowledgeable & thorough with all information he gave on our day trips. Every day was so much fun with Arthur as he was always so enthusiastic & excited!! Couldn’t recommend Arthur and tru travels enough! Courtney Monaghan - Oct 2023 ...more ...less

14 Day Northern Thailand Tour

Oct 2023

This trip was my first time backpack travelling with my best friend so prior to starting the tour, I was feeling a whole range of emotions (fear, excitement, anticipation etc.). Arthur, our tour guide, was incredible. He validated all of our feelings and provided us with constant support throughout the duration of our trip. No problem was too big for Arthur, he was always happy to help everyone feel safe and have an enjoyable experience! He provided us all with lots of knowledge, experience and laughter. Arthur created experiences I will never forget! The tour itself was absolutely brilliant. All accommodation, transport and activities are very well organised and enabled me to explore parts of Thailand that I couldn’t have done by myself! Chloe Wright - Oct 2023 ...more ...less

Peanut was such an amazing tour leader…

Oct 2023

Peanut was such an amazing tour leader and made the incredible experience even more unforgettable. He was always looking out for us while also making sure we had the best time. Everything ran so smoothly and was taken care of, and Peanut was very conscientious and careful with our food allergies which helped make everything stress-free. The experience really wouldn’t have been the same without him and I’d highly recommend trutravels (especially with Peanut as the tour guide) to anyone!! Manon E - Oct 2023 ...more ...less

The TruTravels team put my mind at ease!

Oct 2023

Being my first group tour and visit to Thailand, I had mixed emotions. I felt anxious, excited and overwhelmed all in one. However, as soon as I met our tour guide, Arthur, my mind was put at ease! He welcomed my best friend and I to our starting hotel with open arms and has been supportive throughout the whole tour. Any questions we had were answered quickly and he always made sure we had a great time. Arthur’s energy was infectious and he truly made the whole experience unforgettable. 14 day Northern Thailand

Oct 2023

Went on the 14day northern Thailand trip and it was a great experience, the tribe stay and elephant sanctuary were such a special experience, our tour guide Arthur was amazing, spoke great English and was super friendly! After only a few days it felt like he was a friend showing you around rather than him working. He was happy to answer any questions and share his knowledge of the areas we visited and the local history. Always available to contact at anytime for anything, going out of his way to make sure everything went perfectly for you. He was very keen on his Thai food and always made recommendations aswell as offering out his own food so you could try more variety. Would 100% recommend! Neil Buzzard - Oct 2023 ...more ...less
