Ooh la la! Ready to live la high life? This unique weekender is set at the exclusive Château by Contiki, the palatial exclusive property thats been wowing our travellers for decades (and with it's new facelift it's looking more chic than ever, if we may say so ourselves). There'll be parties of course. Dancing the night away in the legendary La Cave. But there'll also be plenty of time for more cultured activities, including painting evenings (accompanied with beaujolais wine), hiking the surrounding vineyards and enjoying yoga on those sweeping lawns. Day 1: Start Beaujolais Wine Region

Welcome to Lyon! We'll meet and greet in France's 3rd largest city today, but won't hang around too long. It's the Château life for us, Contiki fam...
Heading into the gorgeous Beaujolais wine region, we'll arrive at our palatial accommodation for the weekend, the iconic Château by Contiki. For decades this exclusive property has wowed Contiki travellers with its elegant stylings, lush surrounding vineyards – and of course, some of the most legendary pool parties ever.
There'll be a champagne welcome waiting for us, naturally, then after enjoying some fizz we've got an evening of cultural activities awaiting us. Our sip n sketch painting evening will let us explore our artistic side as we soak in the beautiful views, while sipping some world class wine, obv.
After an included dinner it's time to keep the party alive in La Cave, our Château's exclusive party spot. Ready to show off your best moves?
Day 2: Beaujolais Wine Region
Location: Beaujolais
Accommodation: Château de Cruix (or similar)
Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner, Picnic Lunch
Rise and shine Contiki crew! We'll brush off the cobwebs this morning with a guided hike through the gorgeous surrounding countryside (we know about a viewpoint that'll blow your mind). Then we'll keep the active lyf going back at the Château, where we can do a spot of yoga on the lawns, or play some petanque and volleyball. After a delicious picnic lunch, it's time for the pool party!
In the evening, we'll enjoy a French feast, al-fresco. You could get used to this, couldn't you? The bar's open, of course, for anyone who wants to keep the evening going. It's a party weekender, after all. Treat yo'self.
Day 3: End Beaujolais Wine Region
Location: Beaujolais
Meals Included: Breakfast
All good stories must come to an end and it’s time to say goodbye to the fairytale of the Contiki Château… But maybe the real moral of the story was the friends you made along the way? Don’t forget to swap details and say ‘adieu’ until another time!

How long has the tour company been trading?
In 1961, a guy called John Anderson founded Contiki in New Zealand. Whilst later bought by The Travel Corporation, the tour company had already been using the name ‘Contiki’ since its inception.
